This is a Christening gown made from a wedding dress from Char Gable’s Encore Shop. The front and back skirt and sleeves are made out of the very end of the wedding dress train. Notice the scalloped edging. Each piece of the dress before it was assembled is lined with cotton broadcloth to give stability and weight. Snaps close the back and have room to be moved for a larger or smaller body. This christening dress will go into my repurposed wedding dress collection.
