While spring cleaning, I found my mother's prom dress. My mother died in January of this year, so it is extra special to find this gown. Bonnie Houff Pryor made this dress in 1965. It is delicate and beginning to deteriorate. The under dress is a medium green linen like fabric with an over dress of light green floral chiffon print. A small chiffon ruffle accompanies chocolate brown piping along the neckline. Small chiffon ruffles also run vertically on the bodice front. The dress is extremely tiny. I'm sure it would be considered a size zero.
