I made this prom dress in 1988 and found it today while spring cleaning. It features a 3 tier organza skirt. The organza hem is special because it has a piece of narrow ribbon serged over with decorative thread. Believe it or not, I also made a hoop slip to go under the dress. My daughter models the gown without the hoop. This dress soon will turn into fancy dress up clothes for a young niece. I will cut off the bottom tier and take in the bodice for a better fit.
